Carnival _logo _2016This year's Thame Carnival and Big Street Party promise to offer a great day out with a wide variety of activities, including a demonstration by Thame firefighters of cutting a trapped causality out of a car in the arena at 3pm. This will be followed by a fly-past by a Hawker Hurricane fighter plane.

To make it easy for residents to meet up with their neighbours ar the Street Party, the first residents arriving from each street will be given a stake marked with the streetname that can be placed near tables and gazebos to identify an area for residents from that street to congregate if they wish.

From 1pm, street entertainers, including crystal ball jugglers, will entertain you. In addition, you can have even more fun by parrticipating in a range of activities for all ages, including egg-throwing, splat the rat, tombolas and competitions of all sorts throughout the afternoon.

There will be inflatables for the kids, and a Family Fun Dog Show. Beer and Pimms will be on tap throughout the afternoon, as will soft drinks, ice creams and various food stalls to keep everyone refreshed.
